The Windsor Framework is an agreement between the United Kingdom and the European Union that made alterations to the Northern Ireland Protocols. It was established on 27 February 2023.
It includes new measures to:
Restores seamless trade inside the UK by reducing East-West trade disruptions.
Maintain Northern Ireland’s position in the Union.
Address the democratic deficiency in the original Northern Ireland Protocol.
