Yes, iCustoms supports Entry Summary Declarations for all central EU and UK ports. Our AI-driven iENS tool allows you to submit your Safety and Security & ICS2 declarations in just 90 seconds, boosting your operational efficiency.

Are ENS requirements different for accompanied goods than for unaccompanied goods?

Yes, the person in charge of submitting an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) varies according to whether the goods are accompanied or unaccompanied.

1. For accompanied goods:

The haulier, or carrier, must submit the ENS. This is because the haulier is the operator of the active mode of transportation.

2. For unaccompanied goods:

The ferry operator, or carrier, must submit the ENS because the ferry is the active means of transport.

Is ENS required for low-value shipments?

Yes, you need to submit the ENS declaration for low-value shipments. The purpose is to ensure that all goods entering the destination country, regardless of their value, comply with security and regulatory requirements. This helps maintain safety and facilitates smoother customs processing.
