Road Waybill (CMR)

The CMR waybill is a document used for international shipping, which is carried out according to the CMR (Convention relative au contrat de transport international de merchandises par route). CMR is set in place by the Convention for the Contract of the International Carriage of Goods by Road 1956.

As per CMR guidelines, the road waybill documents the most important components and information of the contract of carriage. It acts as a bridge between the transporter, sender, and contacting party.
